Week 1- Putting
Putting is a personal game, pick a putter that looks and feels good to you. Here are a few basic fundamentals to keep in mind in your putting game:
- Try to keep your eyes directly over the ball at address
- Do not hold the putter too tight, it can cause a “jerky” type stroke
- Keep the putter low to the ground on the backswing, minimize wrist movement as much as possible
- Practice 3-5 foot putts to increase confidence and decrease 3-putt greens
